Company Overview: We are a dynamic and expanding landscaping firm specialising in commercial soft works, with a focus on amenity horticulture, commercial grounds, and housing estates/gardens. Committed to delivering excellence, we are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Estimator / Junior Quantity Surveyor. Position: Estimator / Junior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

  • Estimate costs for commercial landscaping soft works projects.
  • Conduct quantity surveying tasks with a keen eye for detail.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate budgeting and cost control.
  • Analyse project specifications and requirements to develop precise estimates.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather cost information.
  • Utilise IT skills for efficient project evaluation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in commercial landscaping or related field.
  • Knowledge of amenity horticulture, commercial landscaping, and housing estates/gardens.
  • Compiling new rates and cost finalising experience
  • IT proficiency is a must; ability to use "Evaluate" software is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ambitious and eager to progress within the company.

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience (DOE).
