Summary
Compass Corporate Services are delighted to partner with a national care provider which support both adults and children in England, Wales and Scotland. Together we are seeking an Estates Director to oversee the effective delivery of all Estates Support activities across a
diverse and expanding portfolio of over 100 care homes.

The post-holder will be responsible for delivery of Corporate strategy and operating plans to meet the ongoing expansion and development of the Company's activities and provision of a fully compliant and good quality built estate to fulfil Operational expectations.Extensive experience in negotiation and completion of all forms of property transactions and development agreements are essential in addition to previous success in active management and direction of simultaneous ongoing property acquisitions and development projects across the UK to meet Corporate objectives and budget expectations.

The role acts as a conduit between Board & Senior Exec team and more locally based colleagues who keep all Estates business activities running smoothly.You will Direct & be accountable for performance of four regional teams of maintenance specialists, each led by an experienced Regional Estates Manager who line-manage local teams of Senior Technicians, Technicians & Operatives.

Alternate responsibilities include:
Responsibility for developing estates strategy in line with the Groups ESG credentials.
Communicating key messages to team members about work plans and priorities, cascading appropriate & relevant organisational information to keep them connected to what is happening in the wider business.
Contribute actively to the development of Corporate and professional strategies and oversee execution of suitable delivery plans at directorate and local levels.
Maintain and further develop a high performing and positively motivated team environment through recruiting and developing talented, supportive and active individuals with the requisite personal qualities and skills to tackle inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement in all Estates activities.
Embracing and embedding change and other organisational initiatives including implementation of technology to enable effective business outcomes; engaging and collaborating with other managers at Senior and Regional level across the business
Taking responsibility and ownership for "people" activity within the team; role modelling the values and behaviours and setting a positive cultural tone of the team

Location
This role has a national remit where you will be required to travel to meet business demands. Outside of this the remote will be remote.

Process
The first stage will be an initial teams meeting with the CEO & CFO which will be more exploratory in style. This is to be followed by a formal face meeting at the businesses headquarters where you will likely to be needed to complete a presentation.
