Concept are currently recruiting for multiple EPOS Engineers across the UK to travel UK wide, overnight stays will be provided for.

The successful Engineers will be completing upgrade of EPOS equipment for retail stores on 2-3 month contract

Details of the role:

  • Upgrade of EPOS
  • Swap out back office managers PC
  • Installation of Till hardware, such as card payment device, scanner, patch leads etc.
  • Complete sign off and sign out
  • UK Wide travel- must be able to stay away from home regularly


Hours of Work

  • Monday to Thursday day work, PUDO on Friday
  • 6am onsite time
  • Expectation of 5 days' work per week per engineer
  • Travel will be a requirement of this role - engineer must have access to a large reliable vehicle with appropriate business insurance, valid MOT
  • 1 site per day


Required skillset:

  • Experienced field engineers with experience of script-based ATM/Epos/IT project work, engineers must have basic fault finding skills
  • Must have a full UK Driving license and own reliable vehicle with business insurance
  • Must have standard engineering toolkit, PPE hard hat / boots etc
  • Engineer must be able to pass BS7858 vetting check
  • Be comfortable in competing script-based activity
  • Strong communication skills


Rate details

  • £160 per day shift based on a 10-hour day including travel
  • Mileage claimable after 100 miles per day, 32ppm thereafter


This role has been assessed and deemed an Inside IR35 role
