English Teacher / English Specialist / English Instructor
Lyndhurst - New Forest
Full time English role to start after May half term!

We are currently on the look out a passionate, energetic English Teacher / Instructor who is available on a full-time basis after May half term until the end of the academic year. The school in based in Lyndhurst, New Forest, therefore you must be local or willing to travel to the area.

You will need to be willing to carry out a contract from May half term until the end of the academic year in an 'Outstanding' SEN School in Lyndhurst.

The timetable that needs covering includes Year 9 English, Year 10 (Functional Skills) English and Year 11 (they will have finished English, but they will stay with the school until the end of the year.). There are two reading lessons per week - one Year 8 and one Year 9.

This role would be suitable for a qualified or unqualified English Teacher. There is the possibility of a part-time contract if more suited to you as the majority of the timetable is in the mornings however, this would be dependant on suitability, interview etc. They would ideally like to provide a handover, so starting before half term would be advantageous, although not essential.

The school caters for pupils with ASD, SEMH, and complex needs. If you have worked in an SEN school, or have experience of teaching students with special needs, this would again but an advantage but not essential.

If you are an English Teacher or Instructor and you are available for the Summer half term, please apply using the link provided.
