Salary: £30,000-£45,000

Position: Full Time

Start Date: September 2024

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team at a school located in Bedford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher to contribute to the academic success and personal development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that inspire and challenge students.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to achieve their full potential.

• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to support individual learning needs.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the English curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and resources.

• Establish effective communication channels with students, parents, and guardians to promote student welfare and academic progress.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in English or related field.

• Proven experience teaching English at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to engage in reflective practice.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the wider school community.
