We are inviting a passionate and dedicated Secondary English Teacher to join our dynamic team starting September 2024. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality English lessons, inspiring a love for literature and language, and supporting students to reach their academic goals.

Day to Day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative English lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement and learning.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that accommodates diverse learning needs.

• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s English department.

• Engage with parents and guardians during conferences to discuss student progress and strategies for development.

• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational research.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

• Bachelor’s degree in English or a closely related field.

• Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level.

• Strong understanding of the English curriculum and pedagogical techniques.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for classroom management.

• A commitment to continuous professional development and a proactive approach to student learning.
