English Teacher Wanted for September 2024

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English teacher to start at a school in Luton in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to students across, inspiring a love for literature, language, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that meet the needs of all students.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through regular formative and summative assessments.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive English curriculum.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English or related field
• QTS
• Strong knowledge of English literature, grammar, and language acquisition strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire.

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: September 2024

Salary: Pay to scale
