English Teacher Jobs in Milton Keynes

Tick Education are looking for daily supply English Teachers to work in a variety of secondary schools in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Candidates will either need to be Fully Qualified Teachers, FE Lecturers, PGCE Students, ECT’s or English Tutors. Our schools require that our candidates have recent experience within an English department of a secondary school.

Daily supply English Teacher roles can then lead into a longer term or even a permanent post. As a daily English Teacher you will be able to experience a wide variety of schools within the Luton area, this will allow you to see if a longer-term post comes up if you would like to continue in the school.

As an English Teacher covering daily work you will not be expected to plan or prepare work, but you will be asked to deliver 5 -6 lessons a day. They may not all be covering English but also some general cover. If you are asked to cover a long-term post as an English Teacher then you will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver the lessons that you are covering. For longer term roles AWR pay rates will apply.
