I am recruiting for a private school based in Cardiff which has a caring and inclusive environment to encourage the development of both pupils and staff. Your new role Starting ASAP, you will work as part of the English department made up of a group of specialist teachers. You will be responsible for full teaching responsibilities for (including planning and preparation) for a full time English Timetable. You will be responsible for setting work and marking whilst carrying out any pastoral duties that may arise.

What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified teacher registered with the Education Workforce Council. You will have previous experience of teaching English in a secondary school. You must hold QTS - TEFL or ESOL teachers are not suitable unless also possessing PGCE in English. You will have a passion for learning and have a strong track record of helping pupils to achieve results. You will also possess strong behaviour and classroom management skills. You share a commitment to safeguarding and hold a DBS check or are willing to get one.
