The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for an Engineering Test Technician for their client based in Gillingham, Kent.

The position of Technician requires the need to support all facets of testing, across the Centre Of Excellence test facility, the facilities include Engine Test (Performance & Validation), Vehicle Test, Rig Test (Performance & Validation), Specialist Environmental rigs, NVH rigs and FIE (fuel injection equipment) build

Mandatory Skills
* Intermediate mechanical fitting skills
* Basic knowledge of fuel injection system functionality
* Basic Instrumentation set-up / operational skills
* Basic data acquisition skills
* Intermediate computer (MS office) skills
* Basic test equipment programming - examples: (AVL Puma / National Instruments / editing
skills)
* Basic engine function understanding
* Either or both: Basic rig function understanding / Basic engine test bed understanding
* Good Communication skills
* Basic RISK assessment skills

Weekly working hours for the first 3 to 6 months
Mon-Thurs: 08:00 - 16:30 (with a 30 minute unpaid lunchbreak)
Fri: 08:00 - 13:00 (with no lunchbreak)

Shift work will be required after 3 - 6 months - shift allowance applied on top of base salary.

DAYS
Mon to Thurs: 06.00 - 14:00 - 30 minute unpaid break
Fri: 06:00 - 13:30 - 30 minute unpaid break

LATES
Mon to Thurs: 14:00 - 22:00 - 30 minute unpaid break
Fri: 13:00 - 20:30 - 30 minute unpaid break
