Engineering Stores Person

We are recruiting for a Raw Materials Stores Person for a well established Aerospace Engineering company based on Poole, Dorset.  

Salary:

£13 - £14.50 per hour depending on experience and skills. 

Hours:

Start at 7am or 8am and finish at 4pm or 5pm with flexibility available. Monday to Friday with options to condense hours into less days. 39 hours per week basic.  

Overview:

The ideal candidate must have good experience in bonded material stores. Experience in the aerospace industry is essential. It would be advantageous that the successful candidate would hold a valid forklift licence, although not essential as we will provide training. The successful candidate must have a valid driving licence as will be required to drive a forklift on a road once trained.

Responsibilities:

• Controlling raw material storage and issue, including booking in material from suppliers and reviewing incoming delivery certificates
• Ensuring the production process is uninterrupted due to material issue
• Ensure the highest level of quality control/inspection conditions are applied at all times during the process
• Maintain quality records and documentation in accordance with company procedures
• Loading jobs/material to machines
• Maintaining Airbus Raw Material Stores to a standard that reflects 5C standards.
• Control Raw Material storage and issue
• Identify and maintain traceability of all received material.
• Ensure the highest level of quality control/inspection conditions and Aerospace traceability are applied at all times.
