Engineering Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with technical skills to support our engineering team in installing and commissioning of new conveyor systems within our organisation for a 6-month contract.

Location you will be supporting the Hayes regain which will cover some travel Ipswich

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Project planning

Field verification of drawings and identifying interference's with existing/new equipment

Raise updates for different project phases, and address concerns, if any, from different approver groups, prior to start of works on site.

Project execution

Set-up and manage daily calls with vendors, Provide daily report summary.

Site visits to verify project progress and gather stakeholder/customer feedback. Frequency of site visits to be agreed, address any concerns during these site visits. Escalate any concerns if needed.

Manage any ordered materials (signage, racking, SBL) to be received on site, inventory and identify any gaps. Coordinate with Ops/RME to transport materials within the DS and 3PA to provide labour for the material movement and installation.

Coordinate with IT, obtain IDF keys and monitor IDF cabinets during data cable terminations. Validate cable installation and functionality with IT.

Supporting UK FE PM during site acceptance tests (4-5days continuous on site presence)
