Overview:

This is a dynamic, innovative SME company that prides itself on pushing the boundaries of technology and engineering excellence. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Project Manager to join their team and lead exciting projects and new product developments.

Main Responsibilities:

• Play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects to the highest possible standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business including manufacturing, commercial and others.
• Develop project plans, timelines, resource allocation and risk management strategies.
• Monitor and report on project progress addressing any issues or deviations from the plan.
• Foster an innovative and collaborative work environment.
• Establish strong relationships with internal and external partners.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in an engineering led organisation and used to running technical projects.
• Hold a degree in an Engineering field.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Some experience in linking into manufacturing would be beneficial.
• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies but with the adaptability to work with agility and flair around a structure.
• PMP or Price 2 certification beneficial but not essential.
