Our client are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Project Manager to join their team in Poole. As an Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating all technical and commercial elements of sales enquiries, developing comprehensive project plans, and producing proposals. Your role will involve close collaboration with various departments, including Sales, Design, and Manufacturing, to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate all technical and commercial elements of sales enquiries, developing detailed project plans.
• Produce proposals resulting from sales enquiries, including estimates of design and manufacturing time, risk identification and management, margin analysis, and occasional customer presentations.
• Act as the primary customer interface throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular status reports and addressing any customer issues.
• Participate in customer visits and quality reviews, ensuring final product acceptance.
• Develop and maintain key account management relationships with customers.
• Ensure customer orders and quotations comply with export regulations.
• Deliver weekly written reports on project status.

Requirements:

• HNC or Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience in Project Management, including analysis, design, manufacturing methods, and process improvement.
• Strong technical understanding and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in CAD and CAD/CAM design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Willingness to occasionally travel internationally.
