Engineering Manager - NPI / NPD

A consistently growing Aerospace tier 1 OEM is now looking to bring in an Engineering Manager to support their NPI and NPD functions as part of their continued market growth strategies. With year-on-year growth and an extensive order book, this business will allow you to further strengthen your skill set whilst looking to develop for the future.

Your new role
As the Engineering Manager, you'll be reporting to the Head of Engineering with a dotted reporting line to the Site General Manager. You will be managing a team of 8 colleagues with leadership responsibilities towards 50 colleagues from the factory shop floor. You will be expected to manage the development and introduction of new product ranges to the manufacturing facility. Within the Engineering Manager role, you'll also be expected to support the creation of CAD / CAM programmes.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for the Engineering Manager role, you must have a proven leadership background from a CNC environment. Ideally, you'll hold a degree within a related Engineering field, but this won't be critical to the success of your application. It would be highly beneficial to have a working knowledge of aerospace quality standards.

What you'll get in return
As the Engineering Manager, you'll earn a salary of up to £60,000 which will be dependent upon your experience. In addition to this generous salary, you'll join the site's leadership bonus scheme and its flexible benefits packages.
