Are you a Contract Engineer with water systems knowledge gained in a GMP setting? Join us for a six month contract reporting into Head of Engineering to deliver key expertise to our Haverhill UK site, embedding best practices for water systems management, purified water and recovered water and enhanced compliance.

Your Responsibilities

You will:

  • Review our Specialist Water Systems: purified water and recovered water. Focusing on operating conditions, standards, compliance, performance trending and reporting with a view to providing recommendations.
  • Provide consultancy for water systems and investigate any OOS escalations.
  • Review and improve operational policies for specialist water systems.
  • Develop best practice for monitoring and reporting systems on Specialist Water Systems performance and efficiency.
  • Upskill and embed knowledge within the organisation for ongoing management of water systems focusing on the relevant statutory, GMP and best practice requirements, reducing business risk and reliance on single person SMEs.

The EUROAPI Haverhill (UK) site has been established for forty years, located fifteen miles east of Cambridge and sixty miles north of London, within the golden triangle. It employs over 250 people and has built a strong reputation in Flow Chemistry, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Spray Drying and as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO). Haverhill is proud to house the world’s largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and rare disease medicines supporting global markets. The site also offers a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.

Our Requirements

Water systems design (purified water and recovered water), maintenance, engineering expertise gained in a GMP setting.

Experience in upskilling and training to ensure compliance and knowledge transfer.
