Engineer Surveyor

I am currently recruiting for a military trained mechanical engineer in the Leeds, Tadcaster & York areas who is seeking to become an Engineer Surveyor. My client values ex-military engineers and many of their existing engineers come from the military,

The successful Engineer Surveyor will join my client’s successful Nationwide business, you will ideally be based around the Leeds, Tadcaster & York areas, you will be visiting customer sites to complete inspections, examinations and surveys on engineering equipment including but not limited to cranes, lifting equipment and pressurised systems. In return you will earn an attractive salary and benefit from ongoing training and development. There might be some aspect of UK travel, but this typically equates to only two overnight stays per month.

Engineer Surveyor Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of an NVQ level 3 (mechanical engineering)
  • A demonstrable background in mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to learn new engineering solutions and disciplines.
  • Knowledge in cranes or lifting equipment would be beneficial.
  • Strong communicator as this is a customer facing role.
  • Flexibility around travel to suit business needs.
  • Full UK driving licence.
