My client is one of the UK's leading multidisciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy, whose specialized services are applied to the infrastructure and energy industries. They have the exciting opportunity of an Energy Consultant to join their property sustainability team in the offices in London.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Work alongside colleagues on range of existing projects in the property, energy, carbon, and building certifications.
  • Carry out SAP assessments using Elmhurst design SAP for high rise residential buildings.
  • Carry out site inspections and analyze findings to produce EPC's and written reports.

Requirements for the role include:

  • OCDEA certification with relevant experience using Elmhurst Design SAP to carry out residential SAP assessments and energy statements
  • Experience with GLA planning requirements and carrying out U-value calculations
  • Experience with software's such as IES-VE and thermal bridging software would be advantageous
  • CIBSE LCEA level 5 accreditation as well as Part L calculation experience would be beneficial
  • Experience with Operational Energy modelling, overheating and daylight assessments not essential but would be desirable
