Joining a specialist team in the Surrey area, the successful Employment Solicitor will utilise their skills and expertise to provide high quality advice to employers and employees on a range of employment matters. Additionally, you will have a passion for business development and the ability to build long-lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Acting for employers and employees
- Representing clients at Tribunal hearings
- Unfair dismissals
- Settlement agreements
- Equal pay claims
- Effects of TUPE
- Drafting contracts and agreements
- Advising on employment related corporate matters
- Supervision of junior staff members
- Participating in business development and marketing initiatives
- A qualified solicitor with a minimum of two years’ PQE
- Technically proficient in contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Commercial awareness is a pre-requisite
- Possesses outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Able to develop long-lasting client relationships
- Strives for high standards in their work
- Has an aptitude for business development and marketing
