A leading law practice with a well-established employment team is seeking an employment lawyer/fee earner to join them. This opportunity is available at the firms Cheadle or Liverpool office, so geography is up to you.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle a caseload of contentious employment matters on behalf of claimants.
  • Undertake advocacy where required.
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation in employment disputes.
  • Stay updated on employment law developments and changes.
  • Maintain clear and accurate case records.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality client service.

Qualifications and Experience:

The firm are open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including non-qualified individuals, newly qualified solicitors, or those with a few years of experience. The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least a couple of years experience is required for this role, though the firm is open to applications from those with more experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law.
  • Experience in representing claimants or Trade Union matters.
  • Exceptional communication and advocacy skills.
  • Legal Executive or Solicitor qualification is preferred but non-qualified candidates will be considered.
