Employment Law Specialist
If you enjoy managing the full lifecycle of Employment Law cases from onboarding to company representation at Tribunals and completion, then read on.
My client is the leader is the food service industry with a large workforce in multiple locations and settings. They are looking for an Advisor to join their large HR team to be responsible for all aspects of employment law and employee relations. There will be a particular focus on managing the entire Employment Tribunal process from the case onboarding through to representation at Tribunals.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
Claim reviews and initial response drafting;
Defining the case and defence strategy per claim taking expense into consideration;
Advising key stakeholders of risk assessments of each claim;
Carrying out investigations, speaking with witnesses and building a case;
Representation at all types of hearings including pre-liminary, judicial mediations and full hearings;
Managing effective relations with outside bodies like ACAS, Unions and Solicitors;
Running training courses in area’s where there appears to be repeat incidences;
Providing ongoing employment law advice and training to managers.
You will bring:
Expert knowledge of Employment Law;
Experience of company representation at Tribunals is essential;
Good experience in general HR policy and procedure;
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing Tribunal cases including advocacy at hearings;
Expert in all employee relations issues with excellent knowledge in discrimination law;
Fantastic communication skills;
Able to attend onsite meetings / training and to attend hearings.
