Are you an Employment Law Solicitor or Trainee Solicitor looking for a different type of Law Firm? How about the UK’s first Not-For-Profit Law Firm?

AltraLaw is client centric and entirely altruistic, donating its profits to client nominated charities throughout the UK. This multi award winning Law Firm has a supportive culture, promoting professional development and career progression under the guidance of a leading sector expert.

All staff at AltraLaw have a passion for helping people. A strong ethical approach to business and a firmly rooted moral compass is essential. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, a desire to learn and progress, exceptional problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, fun and intellectually challenging workplace.

This is what Kira Gunter, Employment Law Solicitor, said about working at AltraLaw:

'The best thing about working at AltraLaw was the people - everyone is kind and always willing to help. I also liked working in a small team where I could make meaningful contributions. I have noticed a difference in the way the firm treats its clients in comparison to other firms - clients are not just a file number here. It’s also great to know our efforts are for a wider purpose and that charities are benefiting from our work.’

This is the criteria for consideration:

  • Ideally you will have between 6 months and 4 years of employment law experience.
  • If you are a trainee solicitor, why not complete your training with us?
  • You will have experience of conducting Tribunal litigation for Claimants.
  • Demonstrable experience of handling a diverse and often complex employment law caseload.
  • Pro-bono experience is desirable.
  • Always deliver excellent client service.
  • Understand the value of people over profit.
  • Solid ethical approach to the conduct of legal services.
  • A people person who supports others and is an active team contributor.
