I am exclusively working with a client, who are seeking an Employee Relations advisor to join their team. 

Working hours can be flexible, as long as you are able to work between the CORE hours of 9am - 3pm with some flexibility depending on the business requirements. 

**This role could become permanent for the right candidate**

Job Description:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on all aspects of employee relations, including long-term sickness management, performance management, and coaching managers.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to ensure that the organisation’s policies and procedures are followed.
  • Support managers in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on the management of long-term sickness absence, including conducting return-to-work interviews and developing action plans.
  • Develop and deliver training to managers on employee relations topics, including long-term sickness management, performance management, and coaching managers.
  • Support the HR team in the delivery of HR projects and organizational development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 or Level 3 and relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR advisory role, with a focus on employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience in managing long-term sickness absence and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in project management and organisational development would be an advantage.
