Title: Embroidery Specialist - 39560

Location: Gaydon  

Umbrella Rate: £38.97 / hr

Position Description:

We are looking for an Embroidery Specialist to join the team to support a new and growing workstream. The candidate will be expected to develop artwork with a team of designers to create robust embroidery designs with physical, prove-out samples for low volume and bespoke production.

Skills Required:

Embroidery digitising. Experience of DG16 Tagima software. Experience of creating artwork, stitch paths, stitch types to meet a brief.

Skills Preferred:

Experience of all aspects of machine and handsewing, preferably durkopp experience. Previous experience of working with leather and automotive textiles. Knowledge and familiarity of interior soft trimmed automotive parts and their assembly.

Experience Required:

Experience of digitising artwork to generate physical embroidery samples. Working knowledge of hand embroidery. Ability to be able to read and follow rendered designs, CAD drawings and colour call outs. Experience of threads, textiles, leather variants and materials suited to the automotive industry. Knowledge and experience of safe working practices adhering to H&S policies. Able to communicate effectively to other members of staff and senior management.
