We are recruiting a Senior Engineer to expand our software development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing both application and base level software, as well as the testing and validation of software in our state of the art, in-house test facility or at customer sites. The role involves operating in a dynamic project environment including technical, commercial and customer management.

What you will need You will have:

• Demonstrable experience of coding in C/C++, including the writing of Base Software (BSW) and low-level driver code

• Real time embedded software design

• Experience developing application level software in Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow

• Knowledge of auto coding tools such as Embedded Coder

• Experience configuring and analysing communications protocols such as CAN and SPI

• Experience with calibration tools such as Vector CANape

• Experience with version control software such as SVN or GIT

• Experience with debugging tools such as Trace32 or Universal Debug Engine (UDE)

• Experience with lab equipment for debugging on hardware (oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc)

• Performed testing and calibration of your software in a rig or vehicle test environment • A systematic approach to bug fixing and issue resolution

• Understanding of functional safety

• Worked in a systems engineering environment Desirable skills

• Ability to interpret PCB schematics and/or to drive Altium or similar PCB CAD software • Ability to read and understand electrical component datasheets

• Experience using AUTOSAR and Automotive SPICE

• Experience with Infineon Aurix MCU

• Knowledge of the principals of electric motor control
