Electronics Test Technician
Our client is a leading Electronics Manufacturing Company servicing all sectors of the electronics market. They are recruiting for a Test Technician based at their factory in Basildon, Essex. Experience in the below would be preferred but they may consider newly qualified candidates with a qualification in electronics engineering.
Test Technician Responsibilities
- To operate automatic and manual test equipment to test PCB's and assemblies to given specifications.
- Provide and record accurate test result sheets.
- Read and interpret circuit diagrams of PCB's and assemblies, to assist in fault finding and resolving test failures.
- Awareness of Health and Safety issues relating to an electrical/electronic test environment.
Essential Requirements for a Test Technician
Proven background in fault finding to component level on a wide range of electronic products including analogue and digital circuitry.
Ability to test assembled PCBs to functional test specifications.
Ensure accurate records are maintained.
Experience of using test equipment such as multimeter, oscilloscope, signal generator etc.
Follow work instructions and quality procedures.
Ability to read and analyse electronics schematic diagrams.
Salary £21,673 - £23,233 dependent on skills/experience
Working hours Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4pm, Fridays 7.30am-1.30pm
