T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Electronics Technician to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis.
Due to an enhanced period of growth and the introduction of new functions within the business, this is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly team with exciting plans and opportunities for training and progression.
Electronics Technician Job Details & Benefits;
- Weekly Rotating shifts
- Mornings - Monday - Friday, 6am-2pm
- Afternoons Monday - Thursday 2pm-10:45pm, Friday 2pm-7pm
- £12 - £12.75 per hour dependant on experience (Hourly rate includes shift premium)
- 28 days holiday to start including bank holidays increasing with length of service to a maximum of 33 days including bank holidays

Electronics Technician Duties;
- Following relevant drawings and work instructions
- Loading and operating a machine with programming elements
- Making up kits and loading components into the feeders
- Apply solder paste to the boards and operate solder paste technologies
- Selecting the correct programming elements and operating machinery
- Operating stencil printers
- Completing manual soldering on boards
- Inspect and verify the quality of assembled components using visual inspection tools and automated systems
Electronics Technician Person Specification;
- Willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail due to intricate work
- An IT background is essential due to complex operating systems
- Strong numerical and literacy skills
- Confident manner
- Ability to work under pressure and complete varied duties to meet deadlines
