Profectus are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager to join our rapidly growing client in Hull.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage department resources to provide comprehensive support to the R&D team and meet manufacturing process requirements.
  • Guide projects through their life cycle, ensuring technical excellence and resource optimization. Adhere to engineering timelines aligned with company business plans.
  • Supervise the transition from research and development to the manufacturing phase.
  • Oversee process design, assembly, and testing, focusing on problem-solving and maximizing efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of non-conformities, collaborating with other functions and external parties as needed.
  • Ensure systems/plants and products conform to all reference standards and certifications.
  • Demonstrate autonomy in implementing improvement processes and leading a team of skilled Engineers. (These duties are illustrative and may evolve over time, with the post holder expected to undertake tasks in the best interests of the Company).

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Knowledge of the Cospas-Sarsat approval process (Desirable).
  • Familiarity with product standards and understanding of national & international regulations.
  • Familiarity with standards applicable to product Design for Manufacturing & Design for Safety (DFSS).
