Electronics Production Engineer

Electronics Production Engineer required for my client who work within the manufacturing industry of laboratory automation products, based in East Grinstead.

With the recent new product launch at the business, they are looking to significantly grow their engineering departments.

A candidate with previous experience and / or understanding within the electronics industry, would be well suited to this position and company.

Electronics Production Engineer Position Overview

• Supporting our sales efforts by helping with proposals for new products and product configurations.
• Testing and refining new hardware, electronics and firmware for our range of products working with our established development team.
• Providing electronic and mechanical design documentation using our Autodesk Inventor CAD system.
• Setting up and managing functional and life testing of new products and product features.
• Providing support to Production, particularly with regard to firmware and the electronic/mechanical interfaces in our products.
• Translating the practical help provided to Production into precise and usable procedures
• On occasion, taking part in visits to our customers to help install or troubleshoot already installed products.

Electronics Production Engineer Position Requirements

• An engineering degree - within a relevant subject - ideally mechatronics or electronics, but mechanical will be considered if you have experience within electronic modules.
• Previous experience within electronics is very beneficial.
• Proven background working within a production and development department, of engineering.
• Based within a commutable distance of East Grinstead.
• Full UK driving licence is beneficial.

Electronics Production Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary - £28,000 to £40,000 - dependent upon, skills, qualifications and experience.
• Full time position - Monday to Friday.
• Holiday package.
