Electronics Engineer

Hourly rate dependant on experience

Our client is seeking an experienced and skilled electronics engineer who will take responsibility for repairing and diagnostics on a wide variety of items down to component level, including printed circuit boards, power supplies, CRT and TFT screens as well as RF and communications equipment.

The range of products that the company repair is wide and includes:

  • Printed Circuit Boards
  • Power Supplies
  • TFT screens
  • Security products including CCTV cameras / pan & tilt devices / DVRS

Items come in for repair from a wide variety of applications including aerospace, agriculture, defence, mass transportation, robotics and security.

The company also offer repair on one off devices where technical information is no longer available and reverse engineering is required or, volume repair for end users or manufacturers.

The person

Must have the ability to read a circuit diagram and solder correctly as well as the ability to derive a circuit from an item which you may have to repair and test without any documentation.
