Electronics Assembler
  • Job Type: Temporary to Permanent 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday
  • Location: Chelmsford
  • Salary: £11.65 per hour

Our client are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of modifications, repairs, and other work, maintaining the company’s quality standards, and contributing to the continuous improvement of their products and processes.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Ensure deadlines for modifications, repairs, or other work are met and communicate any potential delays to the Customer Service Supervisor.
  • Maintain the company’s quality requirements for all products leaving the department.
  • Adhere to the company’s work instructions and contribute to their continuous improvement.
  • Recommend stock items to the Stock Controller and assist with the production and maintenance of test jigs and equipment.
  • Manage the safe and effective use and maintenance of all provided equipment.
  • Report technical problems and suggest improvements to the Chief Design & Development Manager.
  • Set and take ownership of tasks, targets, and objectives in collaboration with your Line Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a technical or production role.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and compliance.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of manual handling duties and health & safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with quality processes, procedures, and objectives.
