Actio Electronics Recruitment are assisting one of our clients based in Lewes with their search for a day shift Electronics Repair Technician to join their successful team.
The Company
Our client are a family owned, global leading manufacturer of electronic products who pride themselves on their high level of quality, reliability and service who have manufacturing sites in Lewes as well as in the US.
The company are looking for a talented Repair Technician to join the business due to sustained success and growth.
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to Test and Repair in house built assemblies and completed products to ensure they meet build specifications whilst achieving and increasing repair times.
Duties Include
- Testing, diagnosis and repairing products to component level
- Hand soldering to IPC standards
- Working on analogue and digital electronics
- Working form circuit diagrams and technical drawings
- Rework of soldering and faults
- Using common test equipment
- Completing relevant paperwork
About You
We are looking for a skilled Repair Technician with HNC/HND/ONC or similar qualification in a relevant discipline who can test, diagnose and repair to component level. You should be able to navigate circuit diagrams and have experience working to IPC-A-610N and IPC-JSTD-001standards.
Salary and Benefits
This is a permanent role and is based on a day shift covering 40 hours per week circa £29,000 per annum.
Benefits include company pension, private medical insurance, relevant tools, 23 days standard holiday plus bank holidays plus long service rewards.
