10.00am-6.00pm Monday - Friday

Vacancy - Electronic Assembler

ESS Employment are seeking an enthusiastic technician to work for our client an innovative UK engineering and technology company.

The candidate will need to be able to demonstrate experience of wiring and components of embedded products and testing of electronic assemblies at the hardware level.

Responsibility:

  • Make cable and wiring connections accurately.
  • Install and assemble of electronic systems based on technical specifications.
  • Maintain documentations of system installation and maintenance procedures.
  • Perform system testing to evaluate performance and functionality.
  • Repair and maintain electronic systems as needed.
  • Recommend upgrades and modifications to improve system performance.
  • Understand drawings, technical manuals and instructions to perform installation activities.
  • Quality inspection.

Candidate should preferably possess the following:

  • Experience of electro / mechanical assembly / disassembly (3+years)
  • Competent in hand soldering and PCB rework.
  • Familiarity with wiring and mechanical diagrams.
  • Literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Can follow instructions carefully.
  • Enquiring mind and good attention to detail.
