Electro-Mechanical Assembler

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To support and meet the demands on production in the electro mechanical assembly areas. Working in a busy factory environment within a cellular manufacturing system following operator quality control procedures.
TECHNICAL SKILL:
Previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage however training will be given to the successful candidate.
Knowledge of assembly procedures, mechanical assembling and wiring, testing of circuits.
Able to read and work from instructions, electrical and mechanical drawings or manuals.
High level of care required including good dexterity with a good eye for detail and quality.
Quick learner and keen to help improve processes.
Previous experience using hand tools.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Preferably two or more years experience of working in a team in a similar role within an engineering / manufacturing environment. Good work shop practices and an awareness of Health and Safety.

Hours of Work 40 hours 7.00 - 4.15 Monday to Thursday and 5.00 - 12.00 on a Friday. 15 mins paid tea break in the morning and half an hour unpaid lunch.
