Electrician's Mate

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who is looking to add an Electrician’s Mate to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in the Dunfermline area, however this role with cover Scotland.

When working away, overnight stays and expenses will be covered.

Hours: Monday – Friday (40 hours)

Salary: £30K – £33.5K

Daily Duties –

• Assist utility electricians in mechanical and electrical installations for water utility systems
• Perform cable pulling, ensuring proper routing, and securing of cables
• Assemble and install cable trays to support electrical wiring systems
• Fit and install Unistrut for mounting electrical equipment and conduits
• Safely handle tools, equipment, and materials in compliance with industry standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas to promote efficiency and safety
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solution

Candidate Requirements –

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Electrician’s Mate
• Electrical knowledge
• Driving Licence
