Are you an experienced electrician with a strong technical background? A leading recruitment company is seeking a Electrician to join a high-performing maintenance team in Poole, Dorset. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the Joint Emergency Service Building to ensure it meets the highest standards.

  • Monday - Friday
  • 8.00am - 17.00pm
  • £36k per annum
  • Weekly Pay
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide responsive maintenance services for the building and its facilities.
  • Handle a range of reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Train to take on Authorized Person duties.
  • Maintain flexibility and multi-skilling across various systems and tasks.
  • Prepare reports on work in progress and completed tasks.
Skills and Experience:
  • Qualified time-served engineer with at least 3 years of post-apprenticeship experience.
  • Knowledge of building, mechanical, and electrical services, including:
    • Heating and domestic water services.
    • General electrical services such as lighting and power.
    • Air handling units.
    • Low voltage electrical distribution systems.
    • Emergency standby generating plant.
    • Fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.
    • Electrical control systems.
    • Building Management System.
    • Plant Rooms, including Steam Pipes.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
  • Cross-trade experience is beneficial.
