Electrical Engineer
Reed Industrial are hiring an Electrical Engineer in Stratford-upon-Avon!
We've partnered with a leading business in the metal waste and recycling industry, and are lookging to bring in an industrial maintenance electrician to support their operations at their UK headquarters in Long Marston.
You'll be responsible for maintaining plant and site facilities on a daily basis, contributing to technical improvements and process developments, maintaining the plant and its infrastructure to the hightest standards, whilst complying to legislations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Correction of plant breakdowns
- Preventative electrical maintenance onsite
- Providing technical support to operations staff
- Participating in safety initiatives
- Assiting in mechanical works where required
- Working with and organising contractors
Key Skills/Competencies:
- High level of organisational skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- 18th Edition
- Experience in the medium/heavy industry
- Experience of PLC systems, variable speed drives, HMIs and SCADA systems
- Experience of maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems
- Able to interpret electrical drawings
- Experience working on control equipment for pupms, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, conveyors, industrial sesnors and other production plant process systems

Please note this is a full-time permanent role, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday across rotating shift patterns - 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.
