Self employed – hourly rate £22.00 dependent on skills and experience – own vehicle required

Employed -   £20.50 - £23 ph depending on qualifications and experience – vehicle supplied

West Yorkshire LS12 4JG – full driving licence essential

Part time / Full time options available

Optima Electrical are currently recruiting for a second fully qualified electrician to work with them on  domestic, commercial, and industrial jobs.

Optima Electrical are a small, friendly family business that care a lot about their staff, subcontractors, and customers. They care about giving all their stakeholders a great experience.

The ideal subcontractor will have at least 5 years qualified experience and hold the following qualifications:

• NVQ L3
• 17th Edition
• 18th Edition preferred or the openness to work towards it
• 2391 Test & Inspection Cert
• Gold Card
• ECS Card
• Experience/qualifications in solar PV desired but not essential
• Experience/qualifications in EV charger installations desired but not essential
• IPAF would be advantageous
• PASMA would be advantageous
• Driving licence essential

The company covers contracts that are nationwide, however most of the jobs will be in West Yorkshire, but the willingness to travel outside of West Yorkshire is required.

The hourly rate starts at £22 dependent on experience for subcontractors and Optima Electrical are looking for someone to start immediately. Subcontractors will be required to provide their own vehicle and tools. There may be potential for full-time employed hours going forward if interested.

Optima Electrical are also open to individuals who would like to work on an employed basis (see above for salary info), in which case Optima Electrical would provide a company vehicle and tools.
