We are on the lookout for a skilled Electrician to join our Clients property services team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and efficiency of electrical services in their residents’ homes. The successful candidate will be provided with a van and fuel card, and will be part of a team that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.

Day to Day of the role:

Carry out routine testing, maintenance, and repairs of electrical services equipment in customers’ homes.

Perform responsive repairs and work within our planned teams in line with work schedules, adhering to IEE wiring regulations and our established standard procedures.

Estimate, requisition, and recommend the acquisition of necessary materials and spares to ensure satisfactory repairs and maintenance.

Apply knowledge and skills to record and report on the status and condition of electrical services equipment via periodic inspection sheets and minor works/installation certificates.

Liaise with both internal and external customers to ensure clear communication regarding progress and actions taken.

Participate in the delivery of Out of Hours call-out service as per company policies.

Operate within the company’s Code of Conduct, promoting a positive image as a local community service provider.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field.

Must hold the 18th Edition (BS7671) wiring regulations qualification.

City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Test/Inspect or equivalent.

Experience within a similar role, ideally within the Residential/Housing sector.

Full and current driving licence with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through call-out and overtime at competitive rates. This role is subject to a satisfactory licence check, essential qualifications check, and a basic disclosure.
