Electrician

Electrician required for our client who is one of the UK's leading electrical and renewable energy suppliers. They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician to Join their expanding Electrical & renewables team to assist in covering the Shrewsbury, Sheffield and Derby areas.

Electrician required to travel and carry out renewables works between Shrewsbury, Sheffield, Derby and perform the electrical wiring and commissioning of air heat pumps & Air source heat pumps. We are looking for a skilled electrician with extensive experience in wiring, testing, inspecting, and maintaining air source heat pump systems and other heat pump systems.

Happy to provide training for candidates looking to get into the renewables industry.

• £37,000 - £39,000 DOE
• Van plus fuel card

Electrician Position Overview

• Travel to various installation sites.
• Wire and commission the Air Source Heat Pumps and other heat pump products.
• Ensure all installations meet the highest standards for quality and efficiency.
• Install all necessary components in line with manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
• Wire and commission systems efficiently.
• Diagnose electrical faults and repair any issues

Electrician Position Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• JIB/ECS Gold Card
• 2391/2395 Inspection & Testing preferred
• Full clean Driving Licence
• Travel where needed
• Solar experience (Advantageous)

Electrician Position Remuneration

• £37,000 - £39,000 DOE
• Van plus fuel card
• 20 days holiday plus 8 BH
• 40 hour working week
• Overtime available - Time and a half
• Training and progression for the right candidates
