Our client is looking for an Electrician to join their maintenance team, based in Wavertree.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance within residential properties across their portfolio of student, young professional and social care housing.

The role of electrician will include:

· Inspecting and testing of occupied properties ensuring safety and compliance

· Maintaining electrical installations in tenanted properties,

· Completing all paperwork and producing certification associated with works undertaken

· Attending emergency, urgent and routine works on a rotational OOH Rota to attend emergencies outside normal working hours, working as part of a team of six maintenance operatives.

Skills and Experiences:

· To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition - 2nd Amendment

· Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation

· Previous experience undertaking a similar role

· Ability to analyse and diagnose problems and implement effective solutions

· Good communication and interpersonal skills along with a customer focused approach

· This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

Package and Benefits:

· £35,000 per year plus pension, fully expensed van and phone

· 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

· Overtime paid for OOH Rota
