Electrician - Exeter

Your new company
Are you a qualified Electrician looking to join the electrical team of a specialist company focused on providing domestic maintenance and repairs to military family homes, working within their South West region.

Your new role
You will be responsible for covering reactive maintenance repairs within an hour of Exeter, covering from Dartmouth up to Chippenham as required. You will be required to undertake various highly quality electrical repairs, testing and installation whilst working both as part of a team and on an individual basis. You will have the opportunity to plan your work day, with the required maintenance repairs being delivered to your work diary in advance. Additional responsibilities could include :

• Ensuring compliance of company health and safety procedures are followed accurately
• Undertaking a continual programme of risk assessment on existing systems
• Utilise both electronic and paper systems to record all relevant electrical documentation

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be the right fit for this role, you will need to hold your NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations as well as a Full UK Driving License to enable you to utilise the provided company work van. Having your 2391 Test and Inspection qualification would be preferable, although is not essential. It would also be preferred if you were to have previous domestic and ideally even MOD housing experience, although this again is not essential.
