Electrician / Approved Electrician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, Electrician / Approved Electrician with 4-5 years of experience to take on this varied and dynamic role to help support the continued growth of their successful Electrical and Security contracting business based in Burton-On-Trent on a full-time basis. 

They are currently looking to recruit experienced JIB Electricians and Approved Electricians to join their growing electrical contracting division. 

You should have at least 4-5 years of previous experience in this role, be technically competent, and be familiar with all types of electrical installation work. You must also hold a valid UK driving licence and have your own hand tools.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for ensuring effective installation, maintenance and servicing, together with fault diagnosis, and repair of customer systems. Complete all paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner. Gather information and diagnose issues, report detailed findings and rectify issues.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• You should have at least 5 years of previous experience in this role and be technically competent 
• Hold a valid JIB Grading card
• Experienced in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Delivering Customer Care and being focused on the support and needs of the client
• Good knowledge of industry standards.
• Great communication skills.
• Promote and adhere to best practices in the industry.
• Self-motivated team member with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
