Maintenance Technician
  • Location: Pencoed
  • Job Type: Full-time, 2 shift rotation
  • Salary: £14.39/hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join a leading Broadcasting and Camera Technology Manufacturer. The role involves day-to-day repair of consumer electronic defect products, from assembly to final processes, including installation, debugging, performance evaluation, and hand-over.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct fault analysis of various consumer products and report production data.
  • Repair defective circuit boards and final products to component level.
  • Manage and control technical repair spare parts using an automated ordering system.
  • Gain a deep technical understanding of each product and its workflow.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the production operation and contribute to its efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • HNC or higher in an engineering-related discipline.
  • Strong technical ability with experience in a similar maintenance or technical repair role.
  • Ability to read and understand computer programming languages such as C, Python, Visual Basic, etc.
  • Proficiency in fault analysis and component-level repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical information clearly.
