Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias)

South Wales-Commutable from Newport, Magor, Cwmbran, Cardiff, Caerphilly, Caldicot, Pontypool, Chepstow, Avonmouth, Bristol

£48K plus overtime, enhanced pension, private medical, career progression, free parking.

4 on, 4 off days/nights, 7-7.

Are you an experienced Electrically Biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer or Technician, looking for a well paid permanent role with a household name in the FMCG sector?

The role offers excellent benefits, job security and career progression, and they have great case studies of staff who have moved into senior managerial roles from this position.

The position will include planned and reactive maintenance plus fault diagnosis in a fast paced environment.

The position is in the manufacturing sector but you will also be working on utilities equipment such as water treatment, pumping systems, boilers and CO2 equipment.

The Role

1. Full time permanent, shift based position with a large FMCG Manufacturer.

2. Fault diagnosis, planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and utilities equipment.

3. Input into continuous improvement of the plant

The Person

1. Qualification (18th edition) and/or apprentiship in Electrical Engineering

2. Working experience in a Electrically biased Multi Skilled maintenance position, including fault diagnosis and PLC fault finding

3. Experience of working on utilities equipment such as boilers

4. Willing to work shifts/nights with a UK driving licence.
