Job Title: Electrical Supervisor (2391 Qualified)

Location: Tamworth, United Kingdom

Salary Range: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Job Description:

The Electrical Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating electrical projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and inspection, with a proven track record of leadership and technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical projects, including installation, maintenance, and repair work, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to electrical teams, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and resolving technical issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that all work meets safety and quality standards, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential challenges or discrepancies, and collaborate with project managers to develop effective solutions.
  • Ensure that all electrical work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and best practices, and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Maintain accurate records of work activities, including inspection reports, test results, and equipment inventory.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities as required, and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Keep abreast of developments in the electrical industry, including changes to regulations, technologies, and best practices, and ensure that the team is up-to-date on relevant training and certifications.

Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification is essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Installation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and regulations, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Full UK driving license is preferred.
