Job Title: Electrical Project Manager for New Build Residential Projects

Location: London

Job Type: Full-time

We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team, specializing in new build residential projects. The ideal candidate will oversee electrical installations, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update Equipment & Material Delivery Trackers: Maintain accurate records of equipment and material deliveries to support seamless project operations.
  • Ensure Health & Safety Compliance: Regularly update and maintain the Health & Safety file to ensure strict adherence to regulations and standards.
  • Conduct Site Inductions: Lead site inductions for workers, ensuring thorough understanding and compliance with Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Toolbox Talks: Conduct regular toolbox talks to communicate safety procedures effectively and address on-site concerns promptly.
  • Permit Issuance: Issue permits to operatives as needed for specific tasks, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Update Progress Trackers: Maintain precise progress trackers to monitor project milestones and timelines accurately.
  • Liaison with Project Manager: Collaborate closely with the project manager, providing essential support and assistance to ensure successful project outcomes.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • 18th Edition Gold Card Electrician
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) with black ECS Managers card
  • Electrical Qualification


Desirable:

  • Inspection and Testing (2391)

Experience & Knowledge:

Essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, demonstrating successful delivery of electrical projects ranging from £5-10m, with a focus on new build residential developments.

Desirable:

  • Experience in managing large-scale residential projects valued between £40-45m
  • Proficiency with BIM 360 and other relevant mechanical software packages
  • Familiarity with Field View and 4Projects

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of managing conflicting demands efficiently.
  • Proactive approach, comfortable working under pressure and at a fast pace.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Flexibility and willingness to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Hands-on approach with a proactive attitude.
