Electrical Project Engineer

Smart Solutions have an opportunity with a global manufacturer who are seeking a Electrical Project Engineer to join the team based in the Llansamlet area of Swansea. You will be responsible for performance, installation, commissioning of machines and equipment to optimize productivity at acceptable quality levels and to provide ongoing plant support where required in line with customer requirements.

Hours of work: Days, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities for the Electrical Project Engineer:

• Lead new Electrical projects & ensure new machines/equipment is installed, commissioned, and integrated to manufacturing efficiently.
• Assist in the compilation, follow-up and control of capital projects.
• Analysis of equipment needs and identifying improvement to existing equipment.
• Aid in the preparation of budgeted outputs, operating efficiencies, capacity planning etc.

Requirements for the Electrical Project Engineer:

• Experienced in the use of PLC control and can demonstrate program interrogation for fault finding and modification to existing software.
• Experienced using Auto CAD electrical and Auto desk inventor for updating and producing new electrical drawings (Training can be provided if required).
• Experienced in AC/DC drive controls and electrical distribution systems.
• Minimum HNC in electrical engineering.
