Electrical Panel Wirer
Our client are seeking to recruit a hands-on Electrical Panel Wirer to work in an industrial environment.. This is a factory-based role but may require occasional travel to remote manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities:
- Constructing Control panels according to technical drawings, encompassing the cutting and fitting of wire ducting and din rail.
- Wiring Control panels based on electrical schematic drawings.
- Conducting testing on Control panels in accordance with relevant documentation.
- Identifying and troubleshooting faults in Control panels.
Additional Qualifications and Experience:
- Prior hands-on experience with electrical wiring in an industrial setting is advantageous. Mechanical aptitude is also desirable.
- Ability to effectively manage a dynamic workload, displaying flexibility while maintaining strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, as well as analyzing data presented in written or numerical formats related to electrical systems.
- Capable of both independent work and effective collaboration within a team.
Additional Details:
- Contracted to work 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 10-minute break at 10:00 am - 10:10 am, and a 30-minute lunch break at 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm.
- Working Hours:
- Monday: 7:30 am - 1:00 pm / 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm
- Tuesday: 7:30 am - 1:00 pm / 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
- Wednesday/Thursday: 7:30 am - 1:00 pm / 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm
- Friday: 7:30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime).
- Overtime is typically available and compensated at 1.5 times the hourly rate from Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.
