Electrical Panel Builder
Spilsby, Lincolnshire, PE23 5HE

  • Full time, permanent role
  • Monday - Friday (8 hours a day between the hours of 8am- 5pm)
  • Competitive rate of pay

Our client manufacture, supply, and install bespoke electrical products, for the Holiday Park and Marina industries.

They aim to deliver high quality, cost-effective installations in a timely manner which encompasses a large amount of forward planning and organisation. This is reflected in almost 40 years of continued return custom from their loyal client base.

As an Electrical Panel Builder you will be directly responsible to the Production Supervisor. The role includes assisting in a range of electrical panel builds, utilising your skills and the equipment provided in our new factory. You will work closely with other members of the production team and liaise with the R&D team.

About the role:

You will report to the Production Supervisor / Management Team and your duties will include:

  • Assembling control panels according to electrical drawings and specifications
  • Installing and wire components such as circuit breakers, relays, switches, and terminal blocks
  • Marking out panels for component fit and fit of components to a chassis plate
  • Using hand tools and power tools to mount and secure components
  • Following safety protocols and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and regulations
  • Collaborating with engineers and other team members to ensure accurate assembly and functionality of control panels
  • Working as part of the manufacturing team, assisting other team members when required
  • Ensuring the production of goods in line with agreed despatch dates
  • Maintaining good housekeeping throughout the department


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with electrical and panel wiring
  • The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
  • Familiarity with the appropriate tools and machinery
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving wiring issues
